March 2017
Times are set in EST/EDT. V/C means the moon is void of course and it is in between signs. It is not the best time to make plans because they rarely turn out as planned.

Thursday March 2nd: Moon enters Taurus at 2:43am.

Saturday March 4th: Venus goes retrograde at 4:09am until April 15th. Moon enters Gemini at 5:05am. It is suggested to not start any new relationships during Venus retrograde and a good time to bring closure to past relationships. Past relationships seem to come to surface at this time.
Sunday March 5th: Second quarter of the moon's cylce begins at 6:32am.
Monday March 6th: Moon v/c at 3:22am. Moon enters Cancer at 7:54am.

Saturday March 11th:
Sunday March 12th: Full moon in Virgo at 10:54am. Moon v/c at 10:36pm. Daylight Saving Time begins at 2am. Virgo moons focus on health, healing, getting organized, service to others and paying attentions to details. This Virgo full moon should really be about healing yourself first before worrying about anything else. This will not be an easygoing moon like the last full moon. Unfortunately it might be stressful and frustrating. Fears and irritation will likely surface. Like all full moons there will be emotional sensitivity only the Pisces influence makes it intensified. Pisces wants us to dream and go with how we feel whereas Virgo wants us to be logical and work out all the details. Logic vs Emotion. The influence by Mercury can create anxiety and a lot of nervous energy. Venus is retrograde so relationship issues can cause trouble. You could use this energy to heal yourself from past relationships that left wounds or mend an old relationship (it doesn’t have to be romantic one) that needs care. There are a few squares happening now with the planets, so it might be best to put any important conversations on the back burner. Communication might not go like planned. Mercury isn’t retrograde but because of planetary alignments things can be taken the wrong way. Just be very careful with how you words things. Virgo can be quite critical. If you find yourself nitpicking or pointing out flaws then take a step back to refocus on something else. Like I mentioned earlier, use this moon to heal yourself. You can also channel anxious energy to start spring cleaning.

Celtic Alder Tree Meaning
The Celtic meaning of the Alder deals with giving and nurturing among the sacred Ogham for many reasons.
Namely, its root system provides rich nutrients to the soil, more so than other trees. The alder can successfully restore poor soil conditions back to healthy Ph levels.
Primarily a wetlands and swamp tree, the alder's root system is often submerged in watery areas. As such, the Celts observed their roots serving as intricate shelter systems to fish, specifically trout and salmon. Further, the alder's leaves easily decompose in the water providing rich nutrients to all manner of water creatures.
These acts of generosity and shelter against harsh conditions can be translated in our own lives. By simply standing firm in our own positive environment, we can affect those around us in positive ways. By emitting our signals of tranquility, and peace, we are enhancing the lives of others just be sheer association.
Although it is primarily associated with the element of water, the alder gracefully crosses into the realm of air and fire as well.
For example, ancient legend indicates the wood of the young alder is traditionally used for crafting whistles, pan flutes and recorders. This establishes the alder's claim to the air element.
Within the realm of fire, the alder's coloring transmutes into a fiery orange after it is cut, indicating to the Celts that the alder secretly harbors sacred flame within its flesh. To prove the point, the alder (although a poor firewood) makes a pristine grade of charcoal, and was perfect for steadily hot conditions utilized to forge fine Celtic weaponry.
In this respect the alder reminds us that we have hidden powers within us that if tapped, provide magnificent resources that allow us to live out our highest ideals.

Monday March 27th: Moon v/c at 6:19am. Moon enters Aries at 10:11am. New Moon in Aries at 10:57pm. All times are in Eastern Daylight Time. Aries moons are great for taking action and starting projects. This is especially true for this new moon being the first of the Spring season. It is the perfect time for new beginnings, renewals and new ideas. We have five planets in Aries right now. Those planets are the Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars and Uranus. That is a lot of fire and Mars energy. If channeled right it can lead to great things. There is a lot of focus on love and the planet Venus. The tricky part is that Venus is still in retrograde. Ex lovers can return into our lives and if you don’t play your cards right, you could end up doing something you might regret. This not the best time to make rushed and impulsive decisions regarding your love life or with money. Jupiter squares Pluto, bringing what is hidden into the light. Mercury is conjunct Uranus, which is great for learning about something new and exciting as well as creating fresh ideas. This moon is full of high energy to help get things moving. Take a look at your goals. Do they need to be updated? Have they changed completely? It is time to start manifesting! Now is the time to start projects. It is the only moon before Mercury goes into retrograde on the 9th of April.
